When CLASS variables in PROC TABULATE are formatted using the YEAR. format, the values that are displayed for the class values are incorrect when you use the ODS destination for Excel. Instead of the year returned from the data, the value "1965" is displayed for the year.

To circumvent the problem, use a format other than the YEAR. format for CLASS variables in PROC TABULATE when you use the ODS destination for Excel.
